Every last Sunday of July marks Navy Day in Russia.

St. Petersburg, serving as the naval fleet's capital and the cradle of Russian shipbuilding, stands out as the perfect place to commemorate this occasion.

For the Navy Day fireworks, we'll marvel at the display against the backdrop of military ships anchored in the Neva, elegantly illuminated.

Traditionally, the fireworks commence at 22:00 and enchant spectators for about 15 minutes. Post-spectacle, the entire flotilla of boats and ships gracefully makes its way back to their home docks, creating an impromptu parade. Interestingly, it's the second parade of the day, as we earlier witnessed another Navy parade, albeit not in Petersburg but in Kronstadt in the morning.
