“Gastronomic Petersburg with Ultima guide”
The Ultima Guide team together with "Courage-Voyage" have launched water picnics called "Gastronomic Petersburg with Ultima Guide".
Now guests and residents of the Northern Capital have an excellent opportunity to set sail along the canals and rivers, enjoying not only the views but also dishes from guide restaurants — Futurist, Mad Asia, Frantsuza Bistrot, and Pame. Choose one of the signature routes, and along with your dinner dishes, you'll receive a neat basket with tableware and textiles to arrange a real picnic right on the water.
The cruise will be not only delicious but also educational — the guide will tell stories with flavor: about the first taverns on Petrogradsky Side, about German bakers and French chefs who for centuries shaped the gastronomic character of the city, as well as about restaurants on the Neva where modern culinary history is being created today. And these won't just be stories about palace feasts, but also about what workers, merchants, and students of different eras ate, when hot soup was a luxury, not oysters.

The central building and the main building of St. Petersburg. It all started from here.
Cruiser "Aurora"
A cruiser that became a symbol of the victory of the Great October Revolution in 1917. One of the symbols of St. Petersburg.
Summer garden
The first garden in St. Petersburg. Here Peter gathered all the nobility for the holidays-assemblies. The emperor decorated the park with Italian sculptures and fountains. His modest Summer Palace stands here.
St.Michael's castle
The only castle in St. Petersburg, and the one with a dark story about regicide. It was the residence of Paul I. Then it was turned into an engineering college.
Anichkov bridge
A bridge decorated with sculptures of horse tamers by Peter Klodt. It carries Nevsky Prospekt across Fontanka. And if you look closely, you can even arrange 4 sculptures in the chronological order of taming the horse :)
Trinity-Izmailovsky Cathedral
A gift from Nicholas I to his beloved Izmailovo regiment, in which he served and to which he owes his power. At the time of construction, it was the largest cathedral in the Russian Empire.
St.Nicholas' Cathedral
The cathedral, built under Elizabeth Petrovna to glorify the deeds of the Russian navy. It is marked by a beautiful 4-tiered bell tower with a clock.
Kazan Cathedral
The cathedral with its impressive colonnade — Kazan Cathedral became a symbol of victory over Napoleon, because the end of construction fell just at the end of the war. Field Marshal Kutuzov is buried here.
New Holland
Former ship's timber warehouses, and now a modern public space. It still delights with its huge arch.
St.Isaac's Cathedral
The most impressive temple in St. Petersburg. The fourth largest dome in the world, covered with red gold. It shines in any weather.
Winter palace
The largest palace in the Empire, the Royal Palace and, at the same time, the Hermitage. Just to keep it in order, it required a staff of 800 people.
The Bronze Horseman
One of the symbols of St. Petersburg. The bronze Peter I on horseback, nicknamed the "Bronze Horseman" by Pushkin. It stands on a thousand-ton thunderstone. The tricks that had to be done to get the stone to the Senate Square are a topic for a separate story.
Academy of Fine Arts
One of the pillars of Russian culture. An academy that has produced a host of artists and creators. The embankment in front of it is decorated with two sculptures of three thousand-year-old stone sphinxes from the tomb of Amenhotep III.
